Valmet built approximately 94,000 Opel Calibra coupes in Uusikaupunki — becoming the sole production site after Opel's Rüsselsheim line closed in 1995.

Valmet's most celebrated contract — over 227,000 Porsche Boxsters and Caymans assembled in Finland across 15 years, from the original 986 through the 987 generation.

Valmet's early EV chapter — approximately 3,000 Norwegian Think City electric city cars plus the luxury Garia electric golf car, both built in Uusikaupunki from 2009.
