Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Car Model History (the “Site,” operated by Fireproof Studio LLC) handles information when you visit the Site.
Our Role: No Accounts, No Database
Car Model History is a static content website. We do not offer user accounts, and we do not operate our own database of personal information about visitors. We do not ask you to register, log in, or submit personal details to browse the Site. If you contact us by email, we receive whatever information you choose to include in your message and use it only to respond.
The Site does not currently use advertising, affiliate, or analytics partners, and sets no cookies. Aside from standard web-server access logs (described below), we do not collect personal information about your visit. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy first.
Information Automatically Collected
No third-party advertising or analytics partners currently collect information about you on the Site. The only information automatically recorded today is standard web-server access-log data, which our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure logs for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. This may include:
- IP address and approximate (city/region-level) location;
- device and browser type, operating system, and language;
- the pages or files requested, and the date and time of the request;
- the referring page, where your browser provides one.
We do not use this access-log data to build profiles of visitors or to serve advertising. If we add advertising or analytics partners in the future, this Policy will be updated to describe what they collect before they are introduced.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The Site is a static content website that currently sets no cookies and runs no advertising, analytics, or tracking technologies — neither our own nor any from third-party partners. We do not use web beacons, pixels, advertising identifiers, or similar tracking technologies. If we add advertising or analytics in the future, we will update this Policy first, and — where required by law — we will request your consent before any non-essential cookies or similar technologies load. You can also manage cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Third-Party Partners
We do not currently work with any advertising, analytics, or affiliate partners on the Site. No third party collects data about you here, and we embed no advertising or analytics services.
We may add such partners in the future to support the Site — for example, an advertising or analytics provider, or affiliate programs such as the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. If and when we do, we will update this Policy to identify the categories of partners involved, describe what they collect, and link to their privacy policies, before they are introduced. Any such partner would operate under its own privacy policy, which we would encourage you to review.
For details on advertising and commissions, see our Affiliate Disclosure.
Your Privacy Rights (EU/UK — GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR, including the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing of your personal data; the right to data portability; and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Because the Site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies or rely on consent for any such processing, there is no consent to withdraw today; if that changes in the future, we will provide a means to withdraw consent and update this Policy. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
Your Privacy Rights (United States — State Laws)
Depending on your state of residence (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA, as well as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to access and delete it, to correct inaccuracies, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As described above, we do not sell or share personal information and serve no targeted advertising, so there is currently nothing to opt out of. To exercise any of your rights, or to ask a question about them, use the contact details below.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell or share your personal information. The Site currently serves no targeted or behavioral advertising and runs no advertising or analytics trackers, so there is no “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (as those terms are defined under California and other state privacy laws) for you to opt out of today.
If we introduce advertising or analytics in the future that could be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, we will update this Policy and provide a working opt-out control at that time. Where required by law, we will also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request. Until then, there is nothing to sell, share, or opt out of.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address it.
Data Retention & Security
We do not maintain our own visitor database. We set no cookies and use no analytics or advertising partners today, so there is no cookie- or tracker-collected data to retain. Standard web-server access logs are retained by our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure only for as long as needed for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle your request. If we add advertising or analytics partners in the future, any data they collect would be retained under their own policies, which we will identify before those partners are introduced. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information in our control, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States, and our partners may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be highlighted on the Site.
