Respect for Intellectual Property

Car Model History (operated by Fireproof Studio LLC) respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). If you believe content on the Site infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a takedown notice as described below.

How to Submit a Takedown Notice

To be effective, your written notice to our Designated Agent must include substantially all of the following:

1. a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
2. identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list);
3. identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed, with enough detail (such as the URL) to let us locate it;
4. your contact information — name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
6. a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.

Counter-Notice

If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send our Designated Agent a written counter-notice that includes:

1. your physical or electronic signature;
2. identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal;
3. a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
4. your name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district (or, if outside the U.S., any district in which we may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

Repeat Infringers

It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to remove or disable access to material and to terminate the access of users or contributors who are found to be repeat infringers.
