The 1997 model year

Overview

The final MN12 and final pre-hiatus Thunderbird was sold only as LX. Its standard engine was the 145-hp 3.8-liter V6; Preferred Equipment Package 157A included the 205-hp 4.6-liter SOHC V8. Both used an electronic four-speed automatic overdrive.
