The 1965 model year

Overview

The 1965 Thunderbird retained the fourth-generation body while adding front disc brakes and sequential rear turn signals. Ford's identification table lists Hardtop, Landau, Convertible, and a Special Landau edition, all with the 300-hp Thunderbird Special 390 V8 and Cruise-O-Matic.
