The 1990 MN12 range continued as Thunderbird, LX, and Super Coupe. Thunderbird and LX retained the 140-hp naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 and automatic overdrive, while Super Coupe retained its 210-hp supercharged 3.8 with standard five-speed manual or optional automatic overdrive.
