The 2023 model year

Overview

The 2023 model year closed the HEMI-powered LD Charger's production run. Eight regular models remained, both Hellcat and Redeye could be ordered as Jailbreaks, and Dodge created four distinct Charger Last Call configurations: standard- and widebody Super Bees, the Scat Pack Widebody Swinger, and the 807-hp King Daytona. The final Pursuit catalog retained V6 AWD and V8 RWD.

  • Every retail Charger received a commemorative Last Call underhood plaque for the final LD production year.
  • Jailbreak availability expanded from Redeye to the regular 717-hp Hellcat.
  • Super Bee, Swinger and King Daytona editions added distinct factory equipment and production limits.
  • R/T models gained 345 fender badging, while four heritage colors returned.

Notable

  • Sixteen pages cover eight regular models, two Jailbreaks, four Charger Last Call configurations and two Pursuit configurations.
  • Super Bee production comprised 500 B5 Blue standard-body and 500 Plum Crazy Widebody cars.
  • The Charger Swinger was limited to 1,000 Widebody cars; King Daytona was limited to 300 Go Mango cars.
  • Brampton ended LD Charger production in December 2023, closing a run that began for model year 2006.

Reliability & ownership notes

  • The two Super Bee builds use different body widths, wheel sizes and drag-radial specifications; they are not interchangeable appearance variants.
  • Regular Hellcat Jailbreak remains 717 hp, while Redeye Jailbreak and King Daytona use 807-hp calibrations.
  • Last Call edition graphics, wheels, tires, brakes and interior parts require edition/VIN confirmation.
  • The final Pursuit drivetrain split remains V6 AWD and V8 RWD; opposite combinations were not cataloged.
