XPeng G6 History

The G6 debuted at Auto Shanghai in April 2023 and entered deliveries on 29 June 2023, making it XPeng's fifth production model. Built on the new SEPA 2.0 (Smart Electric Platform Architecture) platform shared with the P7's generation, it is a sleek coupe-bodied mid-size SUV measuring 4,753 mm long with a 2,890 mm wheelbase and a drag coefficient of 0.248 Cd. CLTC-rated range runs from 625 km to 755 km depending on battery (single- or dual-motor trims, with a 5C ultra-fast charging option capable of adding 300 km in approximately 10 minutes).

The G6 is fitted with a dual Nvidia Orin X processor suite and a 31-sensor ADAS package (including two LiDARs on higher trims) running XPeng's XNGP full-scenario autonomous-driving software. It reached European markets in 2024 and was one of the models central to XPeng's sales recovery after a difficult 2022.
