WM Motor EX6 History

The Weltmeister EX6 was first revealed as a pre-production 'Limited' model at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show, with the production EX6 Plus debuting at the Guangzhou Auto Show later that year. Customer deliveries began in May 2020. Longer and taller than the EX5 at 4,802 mm, the EX6 offered 52.5 kWh or 69 kWh battery options with 408 km and 505 km of NEDC range respectively, priced from CNY 239,900 to 289,900.

Despite competitive pricing for its size and range, the EX6 struggled commercially throughout its life. Total sales were just 259 units in 2020, 110 in 2021, and 6 in 2022 — a stark contrast to the EX5's volumes — before the model disappeared from the market when WM Motor ceased production at the end of 2022.
