Tank Tank 400 History

The Tank 400 Hi4-T entered the Chinese market on 25 September 2023, positioned between the Tank 300 and the larger Tank 500. It is a body-on-frame, five-seat mid-size SUV with dimensions of 4,985 × 1,960 × 1,900 mm and a 2,850 mm wheelbase.

Power comes from GWM's Hi4-T plug-in hybrid system — a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 245 hp paired with a P3 electric motor for 163 hp, yielding a combined 408 hp and 750 Nm of torque. The 37.1 kWh NMC battery delivers approximately 105 km of electric range under WLTC testing, with a total combined range of around 800 km. A 16.2-inch infotainment screen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster outfit the cabin.
