Li Auto Li L6 History

The Li L6 was officially launched on April 18, 2024 as Li Auto's entry point into the L-series family, priced below RMB 250,000 (approximately USD 34,500 at launch). It carries a 36.8 kWh LFP battery and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder range extender with dual motors producing 300 kW total, and claims a total range of up to 1,390 km in EREV mode with a pure-electric range of 212 km (CLTC).

As the most accessible Li Auto model to date, the L6 found immediate volume success — surpassing 200,000 cumulative deliveries within nine months of launch and overtaking the L7, L8, and L9 to become the brand's single best-selling model. A refreshed version entered pre-sales in April 2025.
