Lamborghini Silhouette History

The Silhouette debuted at the 1976 Geneva Motor Show as a targa-top evolution of the Urraco, with wider bodywork, a 3.0-litre V8, and a removable roof panel. It was among the first Lamborghinis to offer open-air motoring.

Production proved painfully limited: only 54 examples left the factory between 1976 and 1979, making the Silhouette one of the rarest post-Miura Lamborghinis. It served as the direct design and engineering predecessor to the Jalpa.
