Jetour X90 History
History
Introduced in January 2019 as the third Jetour model (after the X70 and the short-lived X50), the X90 extended the lineup into three-row territory. At launch it was powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine; a more powerful 1.6-litre turbo unit producing 197 PS (145 kW) was added on September 25, 2019. The X90 measures approximately 4,780 mm long and accommodates up to seven passengers across three rows, with second-row captain's chairs available on higher trims.
An upgraded X90 Plus variant arrived in 2021, adding a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, 9-inch central touchscreen as standard across all trims, a panoramic sunroof, and expanded driver-assistance features. The X90 Pro followed in 2024 with further powertrain and technology enhancements, keeping the nameplate current as Jetour's mid-size family-SUV flagship.
