History

Launched in 2022, the Dashing (Chinese name 捷途大圣, referencing the Monkey King of Chinese mythology) marked Jetour's entry into the fastback SUV-coupe segment. It measures 4,590 mm long on a 2,720 mm wheelbase and is powered by either a 1.5-litre turbo (115 kW / 156 PS) or a 1.6-litre turbo (145 kW / 197 PS), both paired with dual-clutch automatics.

A plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant was offered alongside the conventional petrol models, broadening the Dashing's powertrain range. The interior features a 15.6-inch central control screen running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, an 8-inch secondary display, head-up display, and Level 2+ driving assistance functions including adaptive cruise control and lane-change assistance. The Dashing has been exported to markets including South Africa, where it competes as a stylish alternative to more conventional compact crossovers.
