Jetour T1 History

The T1 debuted at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show in its PHEV guise (marketed in China as the Jetour Shanhai T1) before a petrol-only version went on sale in China as the Jetour Freedom in February 2025. The global launch occurred in Riyadh on February 20, 2025, with the UAE and Middle East receiving deliveries from April 2025 onwards.

Positioned below the T2 in Jetour's adventure-SUV tier, the T1 carries mild off-road credentials: a 200 mm minimum ground clearance, 28-degree approach angle, 29-degree departure angle, and a claimed 700 mm wading depth, paired with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine as the global-market powertrain. Its rugged, upright styling echoes the T2's aesthetic while fitting a more compact footprint suitable for urban-to-trail use.
