Fang Cheng Bao Tai 3 History

Pre-sales of the Tai 3 opened on 31 March 2025 and the vehicle officially went on sale in China on 16 April 2025 at a starting price of approximately USD 18,200–18,300. It is the first battery-electric vehicle (BEV) from Fang Cheng Bao — the brand's earlier Bao 5 and Bao 8 models use plug-in hybrid DMO drivetrains — and signals a broadening beyond the premium off-road PHEV niche.

The Tai 3 is a compact crossover SUV positioned as a more accessible entry into the Fang Cheng Bao lineup. It features BYD's 'God's Eye C' driver-assistance system and an integrated drone system as noteworthy differentiators. Peak output is 310 kW from its electric motor(s). A flash-charging edition was revealed in March 2026 alongside an updated Ti7, indicating continued rapid development of the Ti/Tai sub-line.
