Bufori Geneva History

Debuted as a concept at the 80th Geneva International Motor Show in March 2010, the Bufori Geneva was an entirely new direction for the brand: a four-door luxury saloon aimed squarely at the ultra-high-net-worth buyer who wanted something hand-built that no mainstream marque could offer. Serial production began in 2014 after four years of development and customer specification work.

The Geneva's powertrain is a 6.1-litre Chrysler HEMI V8 in initial guise (430 hp), later updated to a 6.4-litre unit producing 470 hp — an engine that gives the hand-built saloon genuine performance despite its limousine-scale proportions. The four doors are rear-hinged 'coach doors' that can be closed electrically; inside, the rear lounge seats are electronically adjustable with heating, cooling, and pneumatic massage. The rear centre console can be specified with a coffee machine, Chinese tea set with instant boiler, refrigerator, mini-bar, or cigar humidor with humidity control.

Each Geneva is made entirely to order — no two are alike — and the body is, as with all Buforis, carbon-fibre and Kevlar composite over a bespoke chassis. The model remains in current production, the flagship of the Bufori lineup.
