Bollinger B2 History

The B2 was revealed in September 2019 alongside a revised B1, adding a four-door pickup to Bollinger's lineup. It shared the B1's stark, boxy aluminum bodywork and off-road-first engineering, but in a longer crew-cab pickup form aimed at work and recreation buyers who wanted an electric truck stripped of luxury.

Like the B1, the production-design B2 used a dual-motor powertrain rated at 614 hp with a 120-kWh battery and an approximately 200-mile range target, plus locking differentials, a two-speed gearbox, high ground clearance, and Bollinger's signature pass-through bed tunnel for hauling long cargo. Bollinger quoted figures such as a 5,000-lb payload and 7,500-lb towing capacity for the platform.

The B2 was postponed indefinitely in January 2022 when Bollinger pivoted away from consumer vehicles toward commercial trucks, with deposits refunded. It never entered production, but it remains, with the B1, the vehicle most closely associated with the Bollinger name.
