Zagato Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato History
History
First shown as a concept at the Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance in May 2016, the Vanquish Zagato Coupé used the underpinnings and 592 bhp 6.0-litre V12 of the Vanquish S beneath a carbon-fibre body with distinctive Zagato double-bubble roof and 'bladed' tail treatment. Ninety-nine coupes were allocated.
Three further body variants followed: a Volante (99 units, revealed at Pebble Beach 2017), a four-seat Shooting Brake (99 units), and an extreme open Speedster (28 units). Total production reached 325 cars across the four body styles — making the Vanquish Zagato family one of the most diverse single-model Zagato commissions on record.
