History
Unveiled in 1988, the Yugo Cabrio brought an electrically operated folding soft-top to the Koral/GV platform, giving the line its only open-top variant. It was sold in the United States through Yugo America alongside the GV family and is now the rarest and most collectible Yugo; a 1990 example sold at auction in 2025 for $15,275.
The Cabrio was built in smaller numbers than the hatchback variants and US sales ended in 1992 with the collapse of Yugo America. Domestic and some European-market production continued beyond that date.
