History

The 6/110 replaced the 6/99 in 1961 as Wolseley's flagship, mirroring the Austin A110 Westminster. It added a two-inch-longer wheelbase and a more powerful 120 bhp version of the 2.9-litre C-series six.

The Mark II of 1964 brought the option of a four-speed gearbox. Around 24,101 were built before the 6/110 was discontinued in 1968, ending Wolseley's separate big rear-drive six-cylinder saloon line.
