History

The 15/50 replaced the 4/44 in 1956, keeping its predecessor's body but graduating to BMC's 1,489 cc B-series four. It was the Wolseley counterpart of the MG Magnette ZB.

Only about 12,352 were built at Cowley before production ended in December 1958, when the line was superseded by the larger, Pininfarina-styled 15/60.
