History

The Voyah Courage (Chinese: 知音, Zhīyīn) had its world premiere on 1 October 2024 and entered the Chinese market on 13 October 2024, priced from 179,900 to 236,900 CNY (approximately 25,500–33,500 USD) across four trims. It measures 4,725 mm in length on a 2,900 mm wheelbase and is built on Dongfeng's ESSA platform — the brand's fourth production model following a two-year pause in new nameplate launches. The Courage offered both 400V and 800V charging architecture, a distinction that gave it fast-charging capability uncommon in its price bracket.

Two powertrain paths are available: a single rear motor producing 215 kW (288 hp) with a 77 kWh LFP battery rated at 625 km CLTC, and a dual-motor AWD producing 320 kW (429 hp) with the same pack at 570 km CLTC. An optional 109 kWh battery extends range to 901 km CLTC on the RWD variant. Design details include hidden door handles, frameless doors, and a distinctive arrow-style taillight array composed of 132 individual light units. Deliveries of customer vehicles began in March 2025.
