History
The Grandland launched in 2017 as the Grandland X, Vauxhall's family-sized C-segment SUV, built on PSA's EMP2 platform shared with the Peugeot 3008 — a product of the brand's move into PSA ownership. It offered petrol, diesel and, later, plug-in hybrid power.
The 'X' suffix was dropped in a 2021 facelift. An all-new second-generation Grandland was revealed in 2024 on Stellantis's STLA Medium platform, offering hybrid and full-electric versions as Vauxhall continued its shift toward electrified SUVs.
