History
Vauxhall adopted the 'Corsa' name in 1993 with the second-generation car (Corsa B), bringing the UK into line with the rest of Europe after a decade of selling the same model as the Nova. The Corsa quickly became a fixture near the top of Britain's sales charts.
Successive generations (the C of 2000, the D of 2006, the E of 2014) kept it among the country's best-selling cars. The current Corsa F, launched in 2019, moved onto the PSA/Stellantis CMP platform shared with the Peugeot 208, and introduced the battery-electric Corsa-e (later renamed Corsa Electric) — Vauxhall's first mass-market EV.
