The M6 joined the Trumpchi lineup in 2018 as a more accessible companion to the flagship M8, targeting family buyers who wanted a seven-seat MPV at a lower price point. It competes in China's highly competitive compact-MPV segment against models from SAIC, Dongfeng, and other domestic brands.
