Trumpchi GA6 History

Launched in 2014, the GA6 gave Trumpchi a mid-size entry to compete with Buick Excelle GT and comparable Chinese-brand sedans in the 150,000–180,000 yuan segment. It represented GAC's ambition to establish credibility in a class historically dominated by joint-venture brands.

The GA6 was refreshed over its lifecycle but was ultimately discontinued in 2023 as Trumpchi shifted its premium aspirations toward the GA8 flagship and the electric segment. It was never exported under the Trumpchi name.
