Tata Motors Tigor History
History
Launched in March 2017, the Tata Tigor is a 'styleback' compact sedan built on the Tiago's platform, giving buyers who want a boot a notchback body below four metres that qualifies for India's lower excise duty bracket.
Like the Tiago, the Tigor received an electric variant — the Tigor EV — and has been offered with petrol and CNG powertrains, making it one of the broader-powertrain options in the Indian subcompact-sedan space.
