Škoda Karoq History
History
Introduced in 2017, the Karoq replaced the Yeti in Škoda's compact-SUV slot, built on the Volkswagen Group MQB A1 platform shared with the VW Tiguan. It offered a practical, roomy interior and a range of petrol and diesel engines with optional all-wheel drive.
The Karoq received a significant refresh in 2021 that updated styling and infotainment, and it remains in production as the mid-size option in Škoda's growing SUV portfolio.
