History
The Milan launched for 2006 as Mercury's mid-size sedan, a rebadged, slightly more upscale Ford Fusion (and cousin of the Lincoln MKZ/Zephyr) sharing the same CD3 platform and front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive layouts.
A Milan Hybrid joined for 2010, mirroring the Fusion Hybrid. As one of the newest nameplates in the lineup it was nonetheless caught up in the brand's closure, with production ending in 2010 — Mercury's final full model year.
