History

Revealed in October 2018 and built in 2020, the McLaren Speedtail was an aerodynamically streamlined 'Hyper-GT' and the fourth Ultimate Series car after the F1, P1 and Senna. Production was capped at 106 units — a deliberate nod to the 106 McLaren F1s.

Like the F1, it used a central driving position with a passenger seat on each side. Its hybrid powertrain combined a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor for a combined 1,036 bhp, and a claimed 250-mph top speed makes it the fastest McLaren road car to date.
