History

Named in honour of three-time McLaren world champion Ayrton Senna, the McLaren Senna was an uncompromising, track-focused Ultimate Series car built in 2018–2019, limited to 500 examples. Its 4.0-litre M840TR twin-turbo V8 produced 789 hp, and its aggressive active aerodynamics prioritised downforce and lap time over looks.

A more extreme, track-only Senna GTR followed, limited to 75 cars and producing at least 814 hp with around 1,000 kg of downforce, taking the Senna's circuit focus even further beyond road-legal limits.
