History

Replacing the 650S from May 2017, the 720S was the second-generation Super Series car, built on the new lighter, stiffer MonoCage II carbon-fibre structure. Its enlarged 4.0-litre M840T twin-turbo V8 produced 710 hp (720 PS), and the car was widely praised for its bandwidth — usable everyday yet ferociously fast. A Spider followed.

The range-topping derivative was the 765LT, unveiled in March 2020 — a lighter, 755-hp (765 PS) 'Long Tail' limited to 765 coupes, joined by a 765LT Spider for 2021. Production of the 720S family ran through 2023, when the facelifted 750S took over.
