History

The VelociRaptor is Hennessey's long-running upgrade program built on Ford's F-150 SVT Raptor and its successors — a recognizable Hennessey product line rather than a one-off. It pairs uprated power (turbo and supercharged variants depending on the donor engine and generation), Fox suspension upgrades, off-road wheels and tires, and bespoke bumpers, lighting and trim, sold as a complete turnkey truck.

Its most striking version is the six-wheel-drive VelociRaptor 6x6, previewed in 2016 and shown at SEMA, which converts the four-door Raptor into a three-axle pickup with an extended bed and locking rear axles. The 6x6 has carried across Raptor generations — a second-generation build (2017–2018) and a third-generation version with deliveries from September 2022 — keeping the VelociRaptor among Hennessey's signature builds. Hennessey introduced its first VelociRaptor package alongside Ford's 2010 F-150 Raptor (sources vary; some place the earliest VelociRaptor in 2009).
