Haval Raptor History

The Haval Raptor was officially presented in August 2023 and went on sale in the Chinese market on October 10, 2023. It occupies a mid-size slot above the H6 and is styled with outdoor-adventure cues similar to the Big Dog but in a larger, more premium package. An extended 5- to 7-seat Raptor Plus variant — a 1.5T Hi4 plug-in hybrid on a longer 2,850 mm wheelbase — launched in China in May 2026, with exports directed principally at the Middle East, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe.
