Haval F7 History

The F7 debuted on 29 August 2018 at the Moscow International Automobile Salon and went on sale in China in November 2018, launching Haval's F-series aimed at younger customers who found the H-series too conservative. The F7 offered a sharper, more European-influenced design and a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder producing approximately 197 hp.

A fastback coupe variant, the F7x, was revealed at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show, broadening the lineup's appeal. Powertrain options expanded to include 1.5L and 2.0L turbocharged petrol units. The F7 was sold in China and exported to several international markets including Russia and South Africa.
