History

The Haval H2 debuted at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show (Red Label) and reached Australia in 2014 as a 1.5-litre turbocharged crossover, making Haval one of the first Chinese brands to establish a mainstream retail presence in Australia. A Blue Label variant followed at the 2016 Chengdu Auto Show, offering a distinct styling refresh.

The H2 was discontinued in 2021 and replaced in most markets by the Haval Jolion, which shared the same L.E.M.O.N. platform but offered a more modern design and improved powertrain options including a hybrid variant.
