The Aion Y Plus variant gained attention in 2021 when GAC demonstrated graphene-enhanced battery technology claiming a charge from 0 to 80% in just 8 minutes, adding 70 kWh — a headline-grabbing fast-charge capability that raised the brand's profile globally.
