The 2013 model year
Overview
A second facelift and the generation's power peak. A new front fascia with a larger grille, standard HID headlamps, LED accents, and sequential turn signals freshened the look. The GT's 5.0 gained 8 hp to 420, and the Shelby GT500 received the new 5.8 "Trinity" supercharged V8 — 662 hp, the most powerful factory Mustang ever to that point, with a 200+ mph top speed. The Boss 302 (444 hp) returned for its second and final year.
