V6/GT/Boss every oil-service inspections
At each indicated oil service inspect tire wear/tread and wheels; rotate V6/GT tires, but Boss rotation follows its separate 5,000-mile/directional-tire rules; inspect brakes/parking brake, coolant strength/hoses, exhaust/heat shields, half-shaft boots, rear axle and U-joints, steering/ball joints/suspension/tie rods/driveshaft/U-joints (lubricate grease fittings only). The automatic has no underhood dipstick; consult dealer for checks and investigate leaks or poor operation.

Axle fluid

V6/GT synthetic axle exception
Factory synthetic rear-axle lubricant has no routine change unless a leak is suspected, service is required or the axle is submerged. Change after submersion; for high-speed, track or competition use replace axle lubricant and friction modifier after the first hour, then every 12 hours under those conditions. The synthetic-fluid exception controls ordinary road service.
