The Vision was Eagle's home-grown sedan and the volume model of the brand's later years. It launched for 1993 as one of Chrysler's first 'cab-forward' LH-platform cars — alongside the Chrysler Concorde and Dodge Intrepid — a design that pushed the wheels to the corners and the windshield far forward to maximize interior room, helping achieve a low drag coefficient.
Two trims were offered: the ESi with a 3.3-liter pushrod V6, and the sportier TSi with a 3.5-liter 24-valve V6 making roughly 214 horsepower. The Vision was positioned as the sportiest of the LH trio and was sold in Europe as the Chrysler Vision.
Sales started strong but faded over the model's life, and the Vision was discontinued after the 1997 model year as Chrysler prepared to shut down the Eagle brand. Approximately 94,550 were built across its five model years.
