History

The UNI-K was unveiled at the 2020 Guangzhou Auto Show and entered the Chinese market in 2021 as the second model in Changan's UNI design series, stepping up to mid-size dimensions. Its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine produces around 229 hp, and its length of 4,865 mm with a 2,890 mm wheelbase places it firmly in the mid-size SUV class.

Like the UNI-T, the UNI-K carries the futuristic, near-grille-free aesthetic that defines the UNI line, and a PHEV variant has been available. It competes in a crowded but lucrative segment against both domestic rivals and joint-venture products.
