Changan CS35 Plus History
History
The original Changan CS35 debuted at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show and launched in October 2012, establishing Changan's CS SUV naming convention. It was followed by the significantly updated CS35 Plus, which debuted at the 2018 Chengdu Auto Show and went on sale in October 2018 as a more refined, modern evolution of the subcompact SUV slot.
A facelift of the CS35 Plus arrived in January 2021 with restyled front graphics and rear end. The model has remained in continuous production, benefitting from regular updates to keep it competitive in China's fiercely contested subcompact crossover segment.
