History

The Avatr 11 debuted on August 8, 2022 as the brand's founding vehicle, establishing Avatr's positioning as a premium smart-EV marque competing with NIO and Li Auto. Built on a platform co-developed by Changan Automobile and powered by CATL NMC batteries in 90.38 kWh and 116.79 kWh configurations, the 11 offered dual-motor all-wheel drive producing up to 578 PS (425 kW) and 0–100 km/h in under 3.98 seconds.

A defining feature was Huawei's integration: the car ran HarmonyOS in the cockpit and was equipped with Huawei DriveONE motors and, from the ADS 2.0 update in April 2023, one of the most capable consumer autonomous-driving stacks available in China at the time — including a 400-TOPS processor and 34 sensors with three roof-mounted LiDARs. The package positioned the Avatr 11 at the intersection of performance and technology rather than pure range.

A limited 500-unit 'Avatr 011 MMW' collaboration edition underscored the brand's fashion-conscious marketing strategy. Deliveries peaked in 2023 at 21,665 units before declining to 8,645 in 2024 as the broader Avatr lineup expanded. The 11 has been exported to Nepal, Thailand, Qatar, Brunei, and Pakistan.
