History

The Zeekr 7X debuted at the Chengdu Auto Show in August 2024 and entered production the same month, with Chinese deliveries starting in September 2024 and global deliveries targeted for 2025. At 4,825 mm long on a 2,925 mm wheelbase it is Zeekr's largest SUV and most mainstream vehicle, explicitly pitched against the Tesla Model Y at a slightly lower entry price of RMB 229,900 (approximately $32,590 USD at launch).

The single-motor rear-drive variant produces around 310 kW (416 hp), while the AWD dual-motor version combines that rear unit with a 165 kW front motor for a combined 475 kW (637 hp) output. Like the 007 sedan, the 7X uses 800V charging architecture, distinguishing it from competitors in its price class. Within 20 days of opening pre-sales Zeekr recorded 58,429 orders, underscoring broad appetite for the model in its home market.
