History

Unveiled in February 2023 and launched for sale in April 2023, the Zeekr X is the brand's third production vehicle and its most accessible in terms of price and size. At 4,450 mm long on a 2,750 mm wheelbase it slots into the premium compact crossover class, competing with the likes of the Volkswagen ID.4 in its home market and in Europe, where Zeekr began European exports.

The X is offered in rear-wheel-drive (single motor, around 268 hp / 200 kW, 560 km CLTC range) and all-wheel-drive (dual motor, around 422 hp / 315 kW, 0–100 km/h in 3.7 seconds) variants, both using a 66 kWh NMC battery pack. Its exterior styling, developed with Scandinavian design input Zeekr has referenced for several models, emphasises concept-car proportions with a smooth front fascia and hidden door handles.

The X was a key part of Zeekr's early European market entry strategy, with right-hand-drive variants also developed for markets like Australia. An updated AWD specification was introduced for the 2026 model year in some markets.
