History

Debuting at the 2020 Chengdu Motor Show, the Wuling Victory (also marketed as Kaijie) was significant as the first model SGMW developed explicitly for international sale under the Wuling banner. A pre-production unit became the 22-millionth vehicle off SGMW's assembly lines.

The Victory is offered with a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder producing 145 hp or a 2.0-litre hybrid system rated at a combined 174 hp, paired with manual or CVT gearboxes. Three trim grades — Elite, Noble, and Flagship — target different price points within China and export markets.

Chinese market sales peaked at 63,316 units in 2021 before declining sharply as consumer preferences shifted toward SUVs and crossovers; by 2025 monthly sales in China had dwindled to negligible volumes, though the nameplate remains in production.
