TVR Sagaris History

The Sagaris, on sale from 2005, was the most extreme of the Speed Six cars — a fixed-head coupe bristling with air vents, intakes and a slatted rear screen, designed so it could be raced over long distances without modification. Named after a Scythian battle-axe, it made roughly 406 bhp from its 4.0-litre Speed Six and, true to TVR philosophy, went without ABS or airbags.

Praised by Jeremy Clarkson as the best TVR ever made and credited with markedly better build quality than earlier cars, the Sagaris was the last new model from the historic Blackpool works. Only about 213 were built before production there ended, making it the rarest and most sought-after of the modern TVRs.
