SEAT Arona History

The SEAT Arona was first presented in Barcelona on 26 June 2017 and made its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2017. Built on the MQB A0 platform shared with the fifth-generation Ibiza and the Volkswagen T-Cross, it is SEAT's entry into the booming B-segment SUV class.

Assembled at the Martorell plant alongside the Ibiza, the Arona offers the raised ride height and SUV styling popular with buyers while sharing the Ibiza's efficient engine range and compact footprint.
