Scion xA

History

The xA launched with the brand in 2004 as Scion's entry-level subcompact: a conventional five-door hatchback built on the Toyota Yaris (Vitz) platform with a 1.5-liter engine, sold at the brand's no-haggle price. It was the practical, less flamboyant counterpart to the attention-grabbing xB.

Importation ended in December 2006, and the xA was effectively replaced by the larger, more modern xD for 2008. With its short three-year run it is the rarest of the original Scion trio.
